Kazuyo Sejima y Ryue Nishizawa. SANAA
Bowery. NY. USA. 2007

The building 54 meters resembles a stack of seven boxes, one on other,”balanced unsteadily”. To create a building that would meet the regulations imposed and does not look like a monolithic box, dark without aeration, SANAA key elements of the program assigned to each of the seven cases that compose the building, then grouped vertically in a pattern of circulation and use requirements. This allowed creating a vertical internal structural heart, connecting all floors and articulates each other. After traveling and setbacks occurred between each box to create open spaces that are interconnected.
