PLAZA WATER MIRROR
Claire Michel there Corajoud
Quai Louis XVIII. Bordeaux. France. 2009
This magnificent landscape work is one of the most significant pieces of converting the Garonne river bank along the Quai de la Douane (Bordeaux), by the French landscape Michel Corajoud. It is a giant rectangle covered with black granite 5 cm of water, an area large enough to reflect the whole imposing edifice of the Exchange (eighteenth century) colindante al rio. An ingenious computerized water system as sprays and delicate sources turn creates fog effect two meters high, very attractive for pedestrians, interacting with the installation significantly.
